ArtResidency
Chemnitz, the European Capital of Culture 2025, thrives for more artists and residents.
To support artists dealing with the city’s eventful history (as Karl-Marx-Stadt and Chemnitz) we have established an ArtResidency in Chemnitz. The residency provides an apartment and a 220sqm loft for three months and facilitates connections with the city’s cultural and art scene through partnerships. The works of art created by the artists are formally presented to the public at the end of the residency in a finissage exhibition.
Applying to this residency is not possible since a jury of renowned artists, gallery owners, and cultural professionals makes the selection.
